Eight killed in US attack in Pakistan (Deutsche Welle) |
Officials in Pakistan say a missile fired by a suspected US drone has hit a house in a tribal area bordering Afghanistan, killing at least eight Islamist militants. The attack took place in North Waziristan, regarded as a haven for Taliban militants and members of the al-Qaeda terrorist network.
